# SDK license

> License terms governing the rial Kotlin and Swift SDKs.

The rial Kotlin SDK (`com.getrial:sdk`, `sdk-core`, `sdk-flow`, `sdk-ui`) and the rial Swift SDK (distributed as `RialSDK`) are proprietary software of Rial Ventures Inc. ("rial"). Patent(s) pending.

## Grant of use

rial grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the SDKs solely to integrate your application with rial's verification services, and solely for as long as you maintain an active commercial agreement with rial covering that use. This license does not transfer any ownership in the SDKs.

## Restrictions

Except as expressly permitted by your agreement with rial, you may not, and may not permit any third party to:

* decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or underlying signal logic of the SDKs;
* redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise make the SDKs available to any third party, whether standalone or bundled;
* create derivative works based on the SDKs;
* remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices embedded in the SDK binaries; or
* use the SDKs to build a competing product or service.

## No warranty

The SDKs are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. rial does not warrant that the SDKs will be uninterrupted or error-free.

## Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, rial is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the SDKs.

## Termination

This license terminates automatically if your commercial agreement with rial ends or if you breach these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the SDKs and remove them from any application you distribute.
